Light guides

Automotive lighting without light guides is almost inconceivable. They enable the illumination of displays and control elements, bathe the interior of the vehicle in ambient light and, thanks to a stylish-oriented night design of headlamps, ensure that the vehicle is recognizable even in the dark. Regarding the producibility, a light guide can only be compared with other technical plastic parts at first glance. As a transparent optical component with a microstructure, the demands placed on the tool, machine and operator are much higher. Good impressions of the structure, transparency without yellow tint, flow lines or other impurities are required.
